JASON CREST A Place In The Sun (Super Rare 1969 UK 7″rvinyl single with wide centre, die-cut company sleeve. Armonster late ’60s psych classic and the last of the band’s fiversingles [they never recorded an album]. The A-Side is arhighly accomplished popsike nugget with strings and heartfeltrvocals, the occult inspired B-Side ‘Black Mass’ is somethingrelse entirely; doom laden/trippy vocals, Gregorian Chantrbacking and backwards drums/effects throughout – N-I-C-E!rThe label has a faint hand written number on both sides and arpen annotation on the A-Side with ‘4/9/69’, indicating thatrthis was possibly a review copy [it was never released inrdemo form], the vinyl is graded Excellent with a blemish torthe run-out groove on both sides but very little wear to theractual playing surface. A great copy and the first we’ve everrseen in over thirty years trading – now that’s rare! BF1809)
